How to become part of VATSIM Türkiye?
How to Become a Home Controller
Before starting the process, please make sure that your Facility is listed as “Türkiye vACC” on your VATEUD profile: https://core.vateud.net/my/profile.
If your Division is not currently within EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and you would like to become a Home Controller at VATSIM Türkiye, please transfer to the EMEA Region first via https://my.vatsim.net/user/region.
Once you have confirmed that your Subdivision is set to VATSIM Türkiye, please open a ticket under “ATC Training / Training Request (OBS → S1)” at https://support.vatsim.tr/ to begin the process.
Once you have opened the ticket and your eligibility has been confirmed, you will be added to the OBS → S1 Waiting List. The Training Department will then provide you with the necessary information and further instructions regarding the process.
How to Become a Visiting Controller
If you meet all the requirements outlined in the Transfer and Visiting Controller Policy as well as the requirements specified in the VATSIM Türkiye policy, you may submit your Visiting Controller request to VATSIM Türkiye via https://core.vateud.net/my/transfer.
Once your request has been accepted, no further action is required from your side. The ATC Training Department will contact you with the necessary information and further instructions.
How to Transfer to VATSIM Türkiye
If you meet all the requirements outlined in the Transfer and Visiting Controller Policy and those listed on the VATEUD Transfer Page, you may submit a transfer request to VATSIM Türkiye via https://core.vateud.net/my/transfer.
Once your transfer request has been accepted, you must open a ticket under the “ATC Training” category at https://support.vatsim.tr/. In your ticket, please inform us that your transfer has been accepted and that you would like to continue with ATC training.
The ATC Training Department will then provide you with further information and instructions regarding the remainder of the process.
Fast Track Procedure
Before starting the process, please make sure that your Facility is listed as “Türkiye vACC” on your VATEUD profile.
If your Division is not currently within EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and you would like to become a Home Controller at VATSIM Türkiye, please transfer to the EMEA Region first via https://my.vatsim.net/user/region.
If you are a real-world Air Traffic Controller or hold an APC rating or higher at IVAO Network, you must create a ticket under the “ATC Training / Fast-Track Request” category via VATSIM Türkiye Support and provide all relevant supporting documents.
The ATC Training Department will provide you with further information regarding how the process will proceed. It is important that you have to review ATC004 – VATEUD Fasttrack Procedure via VATEUD Policies.
